We are pleased to announce that Newbury Chess Club has a new regular playing venue: The Swan Inn in Newbury.
Our club meetings will now take place at The Swan Inn, providing a welcoming setting for members to meet, play competitive chess and enjoy the social side of the club. The new venue offers us a central and comfortable home for our regular games and activities.
Woolton Church Hall, our previous venue, will now be used only for league games. This arrangement allows us to continue playing our league fixtures there while establishing The Swan Inn as the main venue for our regular club nights.
We look forward to welcoming members, visitors and new players to The Swan Inn. Whether you are an experienced competitor or are returning to chess after a break, we would be delighted to see you at our meetings.
