Preparations are underway for the 2026–27 season, and it promises to be a busy and exciting year for the club.
Following our relegation to Division 3, we’re determined to regroup, perform strongly and push for a much better result this season.
We’ll also be competing in two additional events: the new Rapid League and the Premier Precision Cup. With more competitions on the calendar, there will be plenty of opportunities for everyone to represent the club and enjoy some competitive chess.
Each Rapid League and standard league match will require five players, while our cup fixtures will need teams of six. With so many matches to arrange, player availability and prompt communication will be especially important.
Fixture planning is now beginning, so club members should keep a close eye on the team chat for dates, availability requests and team selections. It’s going to be a packed season—clear those calendars!
Here’s to an enjoyable and successful 2026–27 campaign.
